* IMPORTANT NOTICE: For a high-quality and long-lasting printing on plastic (polypropylene) labels that are used on library material, you must use black resin ribbons recommended by all manufacturers. Printing with vax or a vax resin combination on plastic labels is not durable and therefore not suitable for library use.

*** To portable readers or hand-held terminals, an additional application must be installed for the purposes of carrying out the inventory in the COBISS software. If the provider cannot provide it, contact IZUM.
Procedure
Integrating peripheral devices into the COBISS system:
- The library checks if the device is included on the list of recommended equipment.
- If the device is not on the list, the library buying the device must provide IZUM with a test device.
- IZUM tests the device in the COBISS software.
- If the tested device is suitable for use in the COBISS system, IZUM notifies the library, includes the tested device to the list and returns it to the library.
